Sample 3 day itinerary

This is an example of just one of the many 3 day itineraries available, based entirely in resort with no nights away, and would normally be suitable for all. However this itinerary was planned for a family with children under the age of 14 years old. Similar itineraries with stays away from resort are available.

Day 1

After a leisurely breakfast, and packing your swimsuits and towels, catch the free ******* bus service from thesiam tenerife bus stop at ******* next to your acommodation which run every half hour from nine o’clock onwards (see map), and spend a fun packed day at ******* that is perfect for kids young and old! With a variety of attractions in one place for one entrance fee, either active or relaxing, the choice is yours (see map). Buy a dual ticket online (see attached website details) with **** and get reduced entrance fees for ***** and ***** activity parks, and a reduced price return coach transfer to ****** (bookable online at time of ticket purchase). You can chose from wild water rapid rides, a fascinating visit to a reconstructed floating oriental market to enjoy an authentic Thai massage, or just relax on a sand covered man made beach with comfy sun beds, child friendly pool and a stunning view of the neighbouring island of ******. Dedicated surfers can even enjoy the wave machine, creating waves up to 3 metres in height! These are just a fraction of the activities this great attraction has to offer.

Lunch at the park, and chose from the floating Thai tea house offering drinks and snacks overlooking the sea lions, or the  buffet style restaurant offering a wide range of meals either on the beach or its raised terrace. Leave by six o’clock to make sure you catch the last bus back (see ******** map for bus stop).

Day 2

This Morning you will be visiting the largest mountain in ******** (see map). The volcanic *********, where numerous films, cable car including Star Wars, have used the other earthly appearance of the surrounding area to create atmospheric scenes. Having caught the bus at quarter past nine at ***** (see map for bus stop location) you should get off  at the visitors centre and drop in for information and maps of the site. Make you way up to the cable car and take your seats for a breath taking trip giving you an unrivalled view of ******* largest volcano. If you’re lucky you may even spot the lizards, unique to the island, amongst the lunar landscape. Be sure to pay a trip to both visitor’s centres at the park. One has a great mock up of the internal workings of a volcano and a botanical garden with examples of a number of endangered species. The other, attached to a hotel, provides information about the archeology of the area and about the ongoing scientific research being carried out here.

For lunch either pay a visit to the ******* Hotel, attached to the visitor’s centre, which serves traditional ****** meals. Or there is a small café that serves hot and cold snacks in the cable car building. Alternatively, take a picnic rug and a packed lunch, easily organised given the range of high quality supermarkets in all the resorts, and enjoy lunch al fresco amongst some of the most dramatic scenery you may ever encounter. The last bus returns to your resort at twenty to four (see map for bus stop location).

Day 3

Make a reasonably early start today, there is so much to see and do at ******* (see ******* map) you will need a full day just to scratch the surface of this amazing place, which is a wonderful day out for the kids. You will be collected next to your accomodation by a pre bookable transfer coach at your pre agreed time (bookable on line at time of ticket purchase – see attached website details). On arrival we recommend that you take the discovery tour, which lasts about one and three quarter hours butloro parque will give you a much better idea of the park layout ensuring you don’t waste time on stuff that you aren’t so interested in, and don’t miss something you would love to see. Part zoo, part sea life centre and part amusement park this beautifully run and presented park provides seemingly endless opportunities for entertainment and interest. From whales and dolphins, penguins and alligators (not together!), big cats, sea lions, parrots and other exotic birds, to gorillas and chimpanzees all set in spacious, clean environments. For smaller children, check out the amusement park and activity centre set in a recreated African village.

With a choice of seven restaurants serving just about every kind of lunch you might fancy, from a snack at the terrace café overlooking the volcanic *******, to Spanish restaurants, grill bar, pizzeria, Thai restaurant, snack bars and even a café who’s menus they will especially adapt to suit small children! At the end of your visit you will be collected by the coach, again at your pre agreed time and place, and taken back to your resort.

Our itineraries also come complete with details of where to obtain road maps and contact details such as websites or local booking offices where pre-booking of your activities is required. You will also receive any other details you need to organise your itinerary as easily as possible. Most of your holiday planning can and should be organised in the UK before you leave (where this is not possible you will receive full details of how to book or arrange your activities in resort). Because we appreciate that you are more interested in enjoying your holiday than planning it, the activities on your itinerary have been chosen especially because we have personal experience of how easily they can be organised.
